Solomon Page is Hiring a Payroll specialist Near San Diego, CA
Responsibilities:
- Perform a full range of payroll functions including payroll processing, timecard auditing, journal entries and reporting
- Process paychecks in accordance with all applicable federal, state & local requirements
- Work with Human Resources staff and department managers to ensure payroll is processed and completed on time
- Special projects as needed.
- H.S Diploma, GED or Equivalent
- 3 years of experience in employee payroll processing
- Experience with Payroll Processing for multiple shifts and job types
- PeopleSoft experience in a high-volume healthcare environment
- Knowledge of Federal Form W-2 Reporting Requirements
- Experience with Automated Time and Attendance Systems
